Cardinal-elect arrives for ordination

Cardinal-elect Mgr Prospero Grech OSA arrived in Malta today, two days before he will be ordained bishop at St John's Co-Cathedral. He will be made Cardinal during a ceremony at the Vatican on February 18.

Mgr Grech was welcomed by Archbishop Paul Cremona, Apostolic Nuncio Tommaso Caputo and Archbishop Emeritus Guzeppi Mercieca.

Please note that there is already a statue of the very real Maltese Cardinal Fabrizio Testferrata in the Mdina Cathedral...
