Air Malta is selling seats with extra legroom for €25.
Passengers who would like to sit in seats having at least 8cm of extra legroom now have the option to purchase these seats at check-in.
The service is available on all scheduled Air Malta flights, except those departing from Tripoli, Catania and Munich.
The service is subject to availability and the quantity of extra legroom seats, including emergency exit seats, is limited on each flight. The number may vary according to the aircraft.
People with reduced mobility, passengers under 16 years of age and passengers travelling with infants or carrying pets in cabin cannot be seated in an emergency exit row.
Air Malta has also announced that there has been a change of check-in closure time for passengers travelling from Malta to Tripoli.
The airline’s check-in counters for these flights now close 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure.
This procedure applies for both club and economy class passengers.
Air Malta check-in counters at Tripoli International Airportwill close 60 minutes prior tothe scheduled time of departure, as usual.
