Blessing of babies at Ta’ Pinu

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu was recently the venue for the blessing of babies organised annually by the Catholic Action Movement.

Gozo Bishop Mario Grech led prayers and gave a message of encouragement to parents to do their utmost to offer their children a complete Christian formation. Mgr Grech, accompanied by MgrCarmel Hili and Ta’ Pinu rector Gerald Buhagiar, blessed the congregation with holy water, while some of the parents read extracts from the Holy Scripture.

Each couple was given a medal and certificate.
