Springfield’s new springsummer collection for women is now in store.

The collection features a large palette from earthy colours to bold colours, from neutrals to milky shades.

Textures also play a big part in the collection.

The collection is based around three themes – Rock Circus, Shanghai Street and Hello Sailor.

Important influences include the 1950s focus on the natural waist, showing femininity, the 1960s with its minimalism in shapes and the 1970s with its hippie spirit.

The core of the Rock Circus collection is black and broken white. Accents of red and fuchsia are used to create a circus theme.

Stripes, dots and stars graphics and prints mixed in tulle and chiffon materials create the glam circus impression.

Shanghai Street is a floral collection with Chinese ethnic influences in prints and details. This soft and feminine identity is mixed with street rockability details and accessories.

Short jacket style, floral dresses, flat ballerinas, high-waisted pants come in shades of pink, green and black.

Nautical dresses in the Hello Sailor collection are inspired by retro fashion advertising. New combinations of colours, new stripes rapports in updated colour combinations, hand-painted graphics and cute maritime all over prints give a fresh retro look.

New maritime patches, cotton draw string and classic sailors knots are also featured in the collection.

The collection is available at the Springfield outlet at The Point.
