Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd was recently awarded the Conservation Award for Sustainable Development, which forms part of the Environment Award for Enterprise scheme organised by the Cleaner Technology Centre.
Yellow Pages clinched the award to recognise the company’s yearly effort to collect old directory books for recycling.
The award was also given in view of the company’s considerable investment to install a new state-of-the-art photovoltaic system, which was partly financed by the EU’s European Research and Development Fund.
The award was presented to Yellow Pages chairman Ray Soler by then Parliamentary Secretary Chris Said at the Palace Hotel, Sliema.

No wonder Yellow Pages won this award not only they are environmentally friendly but a great asset to those searching for building contractors to win government tenders costing millions of euros. I bet Vassallo Group should also recognise Yellow Pages as a great publishing because it was due to them that Joe Mizzi managed to find Vassallo Builders to take on the Power Station extention tender for BWSC.
