St Edward’s donation to Puttinu Cares

St Edward’s College Junior School recently presented a donation to Puttinu Cares to go towards the purchase of a flat in London for the families of children who need cancer treatment in the UK. The cheque was presented by two of the school’s pupils, William Le Gault and Oliver Parnis England, to Victor Calvagna, the oncologist in charge of the children’s Rainbow Ward at Mater Dei Hospital, at a recent school assembly. The money was collected last year during Mass and from cake sales organised by the boys. Seen also in picture is Anne Tabone, head of the junior school.
