CARDONA. On February 3, at St James Hospital, Sliema, PAULINE, née Castaldi of Lija, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her beloved husband Joseph, her children Carol and his wife Margaret, Jeanne D’Arc and her husband Prof. Wolfgang Einholz, and Anton, her grand­children Matthew, Cristina, Alexander and Anna, her sister Reré Brown and brother Joe Castaldi, residing in Canada, her cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Hospital, Sliema, on Monday, at 8 a.m. for Lija parish church, where Mass praesente cadevere will be celebrated at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Missions of the Society of Christian Doctrine will be appreciated. KIND. On February 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, WILLIAM, of St Julians, aged 80, passed away suddenly, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved partner Angie, his children Josey and her husband Kenneth, Lisa, and Paul, his godson Xavier, his grandchildren Jonjay, Justine, Ashley and Hayden, his great-grandchild Jodie, his sisters Gladys and Romie, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday at 8.30 a.m. for tal-Ibraġġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. RAPINETT. On February 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY of Sliema, aged 74, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mario and Tania and her husband Ray Schembri, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Erardi paintings

Din l-Art Helwa is inviting the public to visit Our Lady of Victory church, in Valletta, today and tomorrow and view the Alessio Erardi paintings being restored in the vault. Volunteers will be in attendance to guide visitors viewing the cycle of the life of the Blessed Virgin in the vault and the main religious, artistic and historical highlights of the church. Today, the church will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and tomorrow the opening hours will be between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Donations to the Victory Fund will be appreciated.
