Man charged with slightly injuring two women
A 43-year-old man from Birkirkara was this afternoon granted bail against a deposit and personal guarantee of €1,000 after he pleaded not guilty to attempting to seriously injure two women and slightly injuring them.
Marco Borg was also charged with breaching the peace, being a relapse and committing a crime while under probation.

@Peter and Stephen: He got bail because that is now established as a human right, unless impeded by specific circumstances.

He probably got bail because there is such a backlog of criminal cases, that this particular case would be scheduled to be heard in the next millennium.

why are these people granted bail every time when they are such a threat to society? they should be locked until the case is resolved. enough is enough.
