The news that the Sliema local council has been disbanded by the government is indeed welcomed by the majority of Sliema residents.

My hope now is that people like “independent”, now Labour, turncoat Cyrus Engerer and other independent candidates will not present themselves for pre-election visists to my home as they did prior to the last council elections.

However, if Mr Engerer in particular has the guts to call on me, I would give him a piece of my mind.
