The EFL Monitoring Board has donated a set of books to the English Language Resource Centre, as part of its commitment to stimulate and promote the teaching of English as a foreign language profession and enhance the quality of teaching nationwide.

Board chairman Daniel Xerri presented the books to the centre’s head Mary Anne Camilleri, the education officer for English. “The EFL Monitoring Board fully supports the efforts of ELT teachers who wish to build on their educational achievements by pursuing further studies,” Mr Xerri said.

“These books will hopefully benefit all those teachers who have a desire to seek professional development and who constantly strive to upgrade the quality of their teaching.”
