The price of unleaded petrol, diesel and kerosene goes up by 1c per litre from today, Enemalta Corporation said.

It said the new prices reflect the cost of the latest shipments of imported fuel.

Petrol has gone up to €1.42, based on December Platts prices, and diesel to €1.35, based on January Platts prices.

An unfavourable exchange rate meant heating gasoil has gone up by 5c to $1.41.

Petrol and diesel prices in Malta are ranked the 14th and eighth lowest respectively in the EU.
