Belgian international attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is poised to quit RC Genk to sign a five-year deal with English Premier league side Chelsea, according to reports today.

The 20-year-old who can also play on wing is reportedly in London for a medical.

He would become the third Belgian to join the London club after striker Romelu Lukaku and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, currently on loan to Atletico Madrid.

The transfer fee is reported to be eight million euros, with other reports suggesting that De Bruyne will finish the season with RC Genk before being loaned for a season to another club.

De Bruyne scored a double and set up a decisive pass in last weekend's 5-0 win over Louvain, as RC Genk sit fifth in the league 13 points behind leaders Anderlecht.
