‘Youth open to life’ is the theme chosen by the Italian Bishops’ Conference for Pro-Life Day2012. Dar Ġużeppa Debono in Gozo will mark the event withvarious activities.
Next Sunday, the public is invited to participate in a symbolic walk to Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary with volunteers and Gozitan schoolchildren.
The walk will start from the beginning of the road leading from Għarb crossroads to the sanctuary.
During the walk, reflections by Fr Richard Farrugia on themes related to the value of life will be read. Stops will be animated by Academy of Dance students.
Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will preside over Mass at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary at 5 p.m.
On the same day, coloured ‘steps’ leading to the parish churches of Gozo will symbolise a positive message on lifeand special Eucharistic adorations and prayers will also take place.
On February 11, Fr Richard Farrugia and gynaecologistMargaret Spiteri will lead reflections on the meaning of life during a special meeting for youth at 2 p.m. at Dar Ġużeppa Debono, Għajnsielem.
