AIS Environmental Ltd. recently added archaeological services to its growing portfolio with the employment of four full-time archaeologists.
The new services include archival research and the compilation of desk-based assessments such as the Environmental Impact Assessment cultural heritage studies and on-site monitoring of re-developments, excavations and recording of finds.
The team of archaeologists is headed by Edward Calleja, a leading archaeologist with many years of experience.
Established in 1995, AIS Environmental Ltd was the first environmental consultancy firm in Malta.
Over the past 17 years it has carried many projects of national importance such as the development of the waste and sewage treatment facilities, the TEN-T road network, the extension to the Delimara power station and more recently the three wind farm projects.
