Malta BNI will be participating in International Networking Week being held from February 6 to 10.
A networking event will also be held on February 7 at The Palace Hotel, Sliema.
BNI offers its members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and, most importantly, business referrals. BNI chapters comprise members who build long-term relationships and are committed to helping one another find more business through networking and referrals.
The goal of International Networking Week, featuring a number of networking events across the world, is to celebrate the key role networking plays in the development and success of businesses.
The focus of the simultaneous events that are held globally during International Networking Week is to bring together representatives of businesses, government and the community to network with each other, understand the concept of good networking and listen to talks by key networking specialists.
These speakers will offer advice and information on how businesses can grow and succeed through good networking practices.
Jankarl Farrugia, president of the Verdala Chapter based in Sliema, said: “The weekly business meetings held at Malta’s three chapters in Sliema on Tuesdays, Attard on Wednesdays, and Smart City Malta on Thursdays are no different to the other weekly meetings held at BNI’s 6,200 chapters across the world – and they are highly profitable for our members.
“We can say that ‘our business is to help your business do business’. We invite business people to come and learn how they can generate more business through this dynamic tool called networking.”
During the February 7 meeting, running from 7 to 9 a.m., visitors can learn more about the structure, friendship and successes BNI members enjoy worldwide, and now also in Malta.
“They will find out how members are profiting from the structure, camaraderie and personal development delivered through the three chapters in Malta, which all lead to one thing – more business,” explained Mr Farrugia.
Invitations to attend are open to the wider business community. More information about BNI and International Networking Week meeting in Malta can be obtained from jankarl.farrugia@regus.com, on by calling 2546 6601, or from www.internationalnetworkingweek.com.
