Updated: Balzan building reopened
Life has returned to normal and the alarm has been called off at 153 Main Street, Balzan, where there is the Balzan council and post office.
A suspicious bag was found at the building this morning. It was evacuated at around 9.15 a.m. and explosive experts from the Armed Forces of Malta were called to investigate.
After checking the package they gave the all clear and the building was reopened.
