With reference to yesterday’s item entitled Iran Sanctions Hit Malta Firm, it must be pointed out that Adrian Baldacchino declared he no longer represented Maraner Holdings Ltd and had resigned from his post of director of IRISL Malta Ltd, which has been hit by fresh sanctions approved by the EU on Monday.

He also denied having any connection with HDS Lines.

The company’s registered address changed from the one it had in Qormi since October 28, 2010.
