The new Toyota TS030 Hybrid LMP1 parked in front of Austrian driver Alexander Wurz (left), Frenchman Nicolas Lapierre (centre) and Japan’s Kazuki Nakajima during an official presentation at the Paul Ricard circuit, Le Castellet, France, yesterday. Toyota will enter a pair of the prototypes in this year’s 80th running of Le Mans 24 Hours in June. The car first rolled out at the circuit in Le Castellet on January 11 during an exclusive test session at the track. At least, 40,000 kilometres of testing is planned before the LMP1 makes its race debut.
