Father Ivan Scicluna has been appointed Senglea’s new archpriest. He was ordained priest in 2003 and started his pastoral work in Senglea.
In 2005, he was appointed assistant archpriest of Rabat and rector of Nigret chapel in the same parish.
Later on, in 2007, he was appointed parish priest of Sta Luċija where he has been serving for the last five years. Born in Pietà in 1970, he studied at the Institute of Health Care and later at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta.
