The government has signed a €1.3 million agreement with the Salesian Society so that it will continue to provide educational and residential services to young people with social problems.

The Salesians’ St Patrick’s School, in Sliema, will form part of the government’s St Claire College but will keep its status as a Church school.

Through this agreement, the school will be able to benefit from shared resources of the college, including learning support assistants for children with learning difficulties.
