De Rossi: Midfielder Daniele De Rossi is a major doubt for Roma this weekend against Cesena and could also miss Tuesday’s Italian Cup quarter-final clash with Juventus. De Rossi is suffering from an inflammation in his groin and needs intense physiotherapy treatment.

Kameni: Cameroon goalkeeper Carlos Kameni will be presented by Malaga later today after completing his move to the Andalusian club. Kameni was released from his contract with previous club Espanyol last week and arrived in Malaga last night to pen an initial two-and-a-half-year deal at La Rosaleda. The 27-year-old joined Espanyol from French club Le Havre in 2004 and played over 200 league games for the Barcelona-based club.

Donati: Palermo signed midfielder Massimo Donati from second division Bari yesterday. The 30-year-old, who used to play for Milan and Celtic, signed a two-and-a-half year contract.

Blackburn: French striker Anthony Modeste has been loaned by Bordeaux to struggling English Premier League side Blackburn Rovers without an option to buy, the French club confirmed yesterday. The 23-year-old youth international arrived in Bordeaux from Nice in 2010, following a loan spell at second division Angers, but has fallen out of favour this season, losing his first-team place.

Antonini: Milan full-back Luca Antonini was taken to hospital with a suspected head injury following the 2-1 Italian Cup victory over Novara. Antonini suffered a blow to his head during the game but is said to be comfortable following tests.
