Atheists like to quote dubious personages to their advantage...- John Azzopardi, Żabbar

That Jesus Christ once dwelt among us is a historical fact. References abound, mostly Josephus, Pliny the Younger, Flavius etc., apart from the Gospels and testified by martyrdom by the Apostles. The story ended with the crucifixion and resurrection. There is ample overwhelming proof that Jesus Christ was a God-man. This gave way to the greatest wave of religious conversion in history.

Subsequently, imposing cathedrals and innumerable places of worship were built. Is it possible that the Apostles died for a whim or that all those millions of faithful were incredulous fools?

As I see it, the atheist rejects God. God doesn’t dispatch the atheist to hell; the atheist wishes to close his eyes and heart to God and God reluctantly grants him his wish. Those who go there have themselves to blame for willingly choosing their way of life without remorse.

I advise Mr Casha et al to read Dinish D. Souza’s book What’s So Great About Christianity. They will have a field day reading 700 references and quotes from philosophers, scientists, atheists, saints, scholars, critics, researchers, historians, etc. Suffice to quote one critic about the book: “Dinish has done a brilliant job of exposing the distortions and contradictions of atheism and presenting the strong counter argument of the Christian world-view”. And a warning to fellow atheists: “We ignore him at our peril.”

Atheists like to quote dubious personages to their advantage but in this book they will find counter quotations and arguments galore.

I am sure they will find them interesting and healing.
