Intercomp Group, authorised distributor for Dell, Nokia and Lexmark, has revamped its online portal at www.intercomp.com.mt. Designed by web development firm Icon, the improved site was produced to reinforce Intercomp’s position as the go-to source for the latest technology in computer hardware and software.
The newly-designed website features added accessibility and convenience by way of the navigation bar overhead to indicate more clearly the types of products available.
The website includes a number of easy-to-use functionalities such as the ability to search and filter and an intuitive add-to-cart and submit order process.
All makes for a well-ordered and visually appealing portal which is supported by the showcasing images of products, in features such as ‘Our Top Deals’, through which visitors may take advantage of special offers.
Intercomp is offering an enhanced service, including free delivery, easy payment terms and extended warranty. The website also contains personalised aspects: the system compares the behaviour of a new user to that of other users that it has encountered in the past, enabling it to make suggestions based on the contents of one’s shopping basket.
To extend the customisation of a user’s experience on the site, Intercomp is placing great importance on consumer interaction. People may ask for assistance through the ‘Live Chat’ feature on the site, enquiring about any of the company’s products and services.
Users may choose to bookmark and share their favourite products on social media. “When people are browsing they can instantly ask the opinion of friends and family,” managing director Chris Briffa explained.
