Fekruna beach
Fekruna beach is situated at Fekruna in Xemxija. About 18 years ago there was a pathway leading down to it and for some reason this was blocked with concrete bollards. Access to this beautiful bay is now by boat only. Can the public again have access to this natural beautiful beach please? I appeal to the St Paul’s Bay local council to restore access.

Dear Mr.Camileri,,
For pure mistreatment -sheer expropriation in fact-did you not check out the quay immediately next to this bay ?As it has been commandeered by various local business activities especially the fish -farm employees who regard this public access area as their personal feifdom and utilise this public quay as a dry-dock ,loading/unloading wharf , mantenance yard as well as for a variety of other work-related activities and blocking the parking areas in the process and all with the tacit consent of the SPB Local Council

I agree, then I disagree. Having spent the summer there snorkelling with my friend, he and I had to witnessed the locals...yes, mainly locals mistreating their beautiful land as usual.

He even tried to keep the beach clean, but the amount of rubbish people leaving behind (on the rocks) was a disgrace and became too much. I believe he even made makeshift trash cans and was emptying on a regular basis... But people even abused them.
Too many people would surely destroy this lovely spot.
