Full marks to the traffic policeman on duty at the Addolorata traffic junction on Friday at about 8 a.m. Seeing that very few cars were moving towards Sta Luċija roundabout from Marsa but many cars were going towards Marsa from Paola, he stopped the former when their light was green so that the latter could pass instead. This eased congestion considerably.

Initiatives like this should be rewarded.

For the record, I was one of those held up at the green light.
