Following the game, fans tried to invade the VIP stand and directors were subjected to insults and spat on.

Lukaku: Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku said he could seek a loan away from Stamford Bridge from next season if he does not get more playing time. “If my situation at Chelsea does not evolve between now and the end of the season it may be better to be loaned out for a season,” the 18-year-old Belgian said.

Maradona: Diego Maradona was successfully treated for kidney stones at a Dubai hospital yester-day, the Al-Wasl club he coaches said. The 51-year-old began feeling pain after the club’s match on Saturday and was later ad-mitted to hospital, an Al-Wasl spokesman said, adding that the treatment was successful and that Maradona is expected to be released today.
