Adrian Busietta – The Autobiography narrates the life of a businessman and entrepreneur over five decades.

Busietta’s thirst for commerce, as well as that for putting Malta on the international commercial map brought him close encounters with such international personalities as American ex-President Jimmy Carter, President George Bush’s brother Jonathan and the notorious Saudi Arabian arms-dealer and businessman Adnan Khashoggi.

Busietta’s commercial activities encompassed a number of spheres, including import-export, property development and hotel construction, with Paceville having been one of his major targets, as well as technology – including televisions and computers.

He represented the big corporation Amoco and was one of the first Maltese to do business with Japan, namely with Daikin Kogyo in Osaka.

In this autobiography he deals with the momentous event that saw the National Bank of Malta passing into government hands and eventually emerging as Bank of Valletta.

Another major event was the construction of Busietta Gardens in Madliena with his partner of 40 years Marie Angelique Caruana.
