Two brothers from Cospicua were this morning remanded in custody after they pleaded not guilty to stealing gold from a shop in Valletta last Wednesday.

The brothers, one of whom is a minor, also pleaded not guilty to committing a crime while on probation and relapsing.

The older was also charged with committing a crime during the operative period of a suspended jail term.
