About time too!

The news item that the Sliema council has been warned by the government that it will be disbanded if it does not get its act together (January 5) is welcomed by the majority of Sliema residents.

For some time now many of its members are there under “false pretences”. They were elected under the banner of a particular party. Now they are “independents”.

Independent of what? I ask. The answer seems to be independent of the Sliema residents. The quicker they go the better for Sliema, I say.
