Passengers injured by turbulence
Seven passengers have been treated for cuts and bruises after a Qantas Airways superjumbo hit severe turbulence en route from London to Singapore.
Qantas spokeswoman Sophia Connolly said Flight QF32 carrying 450 passengers struck turbulence in Indian airspace yesterday.
She said seven passengers suffered minor cuts and bruises. Four were treated in a Singapore hospital and the others at a medical centre. All have been discharged.
The flight continued to Sydney today, 24 hours behind schedule.

On every flight i've been on, as soon as the 'fasten seat belt' signs are switched off, I hear the sound of many belts being unclipped and removed even though the advice is to keep them on. What happened on this flight is the reason they should be kept fastened at ALL times. Also, for those who unclip their belts as soon as the aircraft touches down, why do you do this? It's against regulations and all you are doing is putting yourself and everyone else at risk. I really wish airlines woul dcrack down on these idiots by fining them at least €1000 and/or banning them from flying with any airline again.

Looks like you're one of those that ignores regulations because you know better. I knew it wouldn't take long for the first one to turn up.

C. Cassar, turbulence isturbulence, even if you are fastened and you hit your head with the front seat or with the window ( if you are at a window seat) still you will end up with a bruise
