A group of education authority workers in California who won a 12 million-dollar lottery prize last year are in the money again, with another pot worth more than a quarter of a million dollars.
State lottery officials announced that the same Montebello Unified School District workers who won 12 million dollars last February have won a MEGA Millions prize worth 262,743 dollars.
The syndicate, which now consists of 16 members, has been playing together for over two years and is a mixture of part and full-time clerical workers.
The winning ticket was sold at Arrow Liquor in Commerce, the MEGA Millions draw was on December 2, and the group claimed its winnings yesterday.
