An interview with Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi on the Franco Debono issue will appear in The Sunday Times tomorrow.

In the interview, the Prime Minister reacts to calls for his resignation by Dr Debono.

Saying that Dr Debono's call had turned the matter into a party one, Dr Gonzi expresses his willingness to face the challenge being put to him and "take it to the forum where it deserves to be treated".

He hopes Dr Debono "will remain consistent and not change the rules of the game once again".

Later, the Prime Minister says that he would be willing to resign if it meant saving the country. - See Video
