Franco Debono produces his school teachers’ report
A grab from the PBS news bulletin showing footage of Franco Debono’s secondary school record.
Franco Debono yesterday defended himself from criticism being levelled at him by producing his secondary school report.
PBS reported that when their crew turned up at his house for a comment he refused to be filmed but instead produced his secondary school record at St Aloysius College to prove his mettle.
The TV crew went to his house after he called on the Prime Minister to resign following the announcement of a reshuffle, which introduced no new faces in the Cabinet.

Cannot possibly understand the mitigation of PN supporters against Dr Debono in producing his 1987 schooling results when only five years later, in an interview on national television on the day of the 1992 election, our then PM had told us Maltese that his school teacher had congratulated him for placing first in his Matriculation results - and that was about 40 years earlier!
Franco was only being led by example here and it seems as it has donned him the same "result" as with EFA's reference to his childhood achievements.

Why are you making such wasteful comments. If you know the reason why he showed his secondary certificate is because of the year : '1987' ! The year of the so called 'Liberty'. Pffff you think you know stuff when you dont even realise the reason.

Ghaliex hawn nies li qed jattakkaw personalment lil Franco Debono u mhux ‘il proposti tieghu? Lil hadd ghadni ma smajt jikkritika l-proposti tieghu. Il-PM stess tah ragun fil-kwestjoni tal-qsim tal-Ministeri tal-Gustizzja u l-Intern (ghalkemm dam 4 snin ikaxkar saqajh). Min ma qabilx mieghu fuq l-issue tal-onorarja ta’ 500Ewro fil-gimgha, fuq id-dritt tal-avukat, fuq il-finanzjamenti tal-partiti, u fuq kollox fuq id-dizastru tat-transport pubbliku li tieghu ma hadd garr ebda responsabilita’?

Why this certtificate? What is the meaning of all this non-sense? Are we living in a democratic country by a party who boasts to be the paladin of democracy or by an autocratic maniac type of leadership? Shame falls on this government degenerated to the lowest levels ever encountered by humanity in this country called Malta.

Anki jien gibt 100 fir-religion ! L-importanti c-certifikati tal-irgulija, mhux tal-Form II ta' San Alwigi ! Ghal xi zmien kont nahseb li kellek punt f'dak li kont qed issostni ghalkemm it-timing kien zbaljat. Issa kkonvincejt ruhi li kemm it-timing kif ukoll l-intenzjonijiet tieghek kienu zbaljati.

Nahseb li din tal-biki! Nemmen li Dr. Franco Debono forsi ghandu intenzjonijiet tajbin imma l-metodu li qieghed juza xejn ma hu tajjeb. Mhux hu l-Prim Ministru! U issa qieghed johodha wkoll kontra shabu l-ministri l-godda. Ma nistax nifhem ir-ragunament tieghu.
