Luxol, BUPA extend sponsorship agreement

Luxol, one of the leading basketball clubs in Malta, have extended their long-standing partnership with BUPA.

GlobalCapital, representatives of BUPA in Malta, have been sponsoring Luxol for the past nine seasons.

“This agreement underlines the long-term commitment of BUPA to local sport and Luxol Basketball Club in particular,” Luxol said in a statement.

During the presentation of the sponsorship extension, Luxol announced that Edgar Caruana Montaldo, a loyal member of the club for many years, has been appointed president.

Caruana Montaldo takes over from Alfred Pace who has been named honorary president of the club.

BUPA Luxol recently advanced to the final of the MBA knock-out competition which will be played on March 19.
