The Westin Dragonara Resort has been given two awards by Foundation for Human Resources Development – for learning and development and performance and reward.

The award for learning and development has been awarded for taking the initiative to make a marked improvement in the learning and development of its associates.

The company has acknowledged that learning and development is critical for the sustained employability and continuous professional development of its employees. Hence, the Westin team has worked very hard in giving this area its deserved attention. This award recognises the commitment of the company towards employee learning and development throughout all levels of the organisation.

The award for performance and reward has also been awarded for proving that its performance and reward programme has added value to the organisation. The company has identified that having the right reward and performance package for the associates is very important for their motivation and retention. In this respect, the total performance and reward programme that has been implemented is comprehensive, clear, equitable, and recognises employees’ competencies and capabilities, qualifications and critical skills, talent and performance.
