I am a pensioner and I was expecting my first-time annual bonus from the Social Security Department.

Having received nothing whereas all the other pensioners are happy with their bonus, I sent an e-mail to the department concerned and I was informed that I am not entitled to any bonus because I had to write a letter to the department informing them that I do not work anymore.

I was never informed about this, so much so that an e-mail sent in June informs me that since I am shown as “closed with ETC”, I should receive the annual bonus in December (both letter and e-mail are sent by the same official).

I now have to wait till January (hopefully) to receive my bonus as explained by the official at the social security office in my village. I will then save it to buy my Easter presents.
