The Church is claiming that it’s banning bare-chested revellers, indecent clothing and vulgarities from the village feasts.

I stand to be corrected but I believe that being nearly naked and drunk and uttering profanities and vulgar words in streets and piazzas was always illegal.

Where do the police come into this or are they afraid they might disrupt business?
