• Claire Bonavia will be delivering a lecture on ‘The tapestries at the Palace’ in the series ‘Rediscovering the Grand Master’s Palace’ at the Palace, Valletta, on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

• A Christmas Mass and get-together will be held on Wednesday for all lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people (LGBT), their parents, relatives and friends. • A Mass and blessings for pregnant women will take place at Marsascala parish church next Sunday, New Year’s Day, at 10.15 a.m. The Mass is also open to fathers, grandparents and relatives, and mothers who gave birth to children recently. Pregnant mothers will be given a special certificate to mark the occasion.

• The Junior Club within Our Lady of Lilies Musical Society of Mqabba is holding a Cinema Day for all children of Mqabba and their friends on January 3 at the Empire Cinemas, Buġibba.
