An aerial view of the park.
Mellieha council has condemned vandalism of two gates at the Majjistral Park.
The vandals destroyed the gates during the night in the past days, mayor Robert Cutajar said.
In a statement, the council appealed to anyone who may have information to contact the police.
The vandalism was later also condemned by the Resources Ministry.

@ Debbie Voss: If you go today you can see that there are more people going fishing than hunting. That area is a very good fishing location, but soon the fishing will have to stop because the lower coast will be out-of-bounds, but hunting can still continue. So why did you point fingers at hunters?

If this piece of news is about a vandalized GATE, why show an aerial view of the PARK?!?
It's like showing a world map when reporting about Malta.

This is just sad, especially considering the size of Malta, I'd expect better of its citizens.
Yet Malta doesn't stop disappointing me.

In a society where delinquency is seen as cool and macho it does not surprise me. Let's just hope they go and get a real hobby...or emigrate, preferably to another planet!

Ms Voss I think the police should be getting in touch with you since you evidently know something more than most others do. If you have any proof re your allegation please get in touch with the police. Otherwise SHUT UB.

Ms Voss, if you go today there, you find more fishermen than hunters. And you know what, hunting will be still permitted there, but not fishing, since the lower coast will be a no-go area. Do you have a clear answer now?
