CRAIG. On November 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Sharon and Alan, God’s precious gift of a daughter – LILY, a most welcome sister to Sophie. Deo gratias et Mariæ. Heartfelt thanks to the obstetrician and all the midwives and staff at Obstetrics 3.

GRECH. On November 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Catherine née Micallef and Chris, God’s precious gift of a son – KAYNE, a most welcome brother to Kyle. Deo gratias et Mariæ. Special thanks go to midwife Elizabeth Muscat.

MICELI DEMAJO. On December 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Sasha and Matthew, God’s precious gift of a first born son – SEBASTIAN. Heartfelt thanks to midwife Dorianne Mangion and all the staff at Mater Dei.

SOLER. On December 10, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Krysta née Busuttil and John, God’s precious gift of a daughter – MICHELLE, a most welcome sister to Matthew. Thanks be to The Divine Mercy and to The Immaculate Conception. Special thanks to midwife Carmen Scerri and staff for all their care and dedication.

Obituary

BUTTIGIEG. On December 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA, née Attard, of Valletta, widow of the late Paul Buttigieg, aged 85, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joseph, France, Paul, Ġemma, Mario and Anthony, their respective wives and husband, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.45 p.m. for St Paul Shipwrecked church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

DEBONO. On December 16, at Karin Grech Hospital, EDWARD, aged 88, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Charles and his wife Carmen and Alfred, his daughters Rita and her husband Paul Mamo, and Anna and her husband Tonio Zammit, his grandchiuldren, his in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.

ZAMMIT. On December 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGE, aged 82, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lucia née Zammit, his children Rita, Franca, Antoine and his wife Annabelle, his grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Good Counsel church, Paceville, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord grant him eternal rest. The family would like to thank the staff at Mater Dei ward M1 and Casa Leone.
