Archbishop Paul Cremona this morning greeted a steady stream of well-wishers who called to meet him at the Curia.
Among them were representatives of Church lay organisations and choirs.
In a brief address Mgr Cremona underlined the importance for society to respect the dignity of children and the elderly.
Children, he said, should receive all the love they expected and deserved, and the elderly should have their dignity respected, even when they were past their so-called productive years.
