Oasis has launched its new winter collection.
Knitwear takes centre stage with a choice of different textures, patterns and prints. Oversized cardigans, woollen capes and striped sweaters are mixed with delicate detailing and trims.
Contrast chunky cable knits, in forest greens and burnt oranges, continue the 1970s transitional trend with subtle referencing to the iconic Woodstock era.
Vintage inspired knits in yarns and colours are also key, ranging from soft heather tones to knits with sparkle.
Block colour is supposed to add a contemporary edge to the collection with primary colours breaking up black and autumnal shades.
Colour blocking is ever present this season; piping and buttons come invarious shades while monochrome outfits and colour block shifts in contrasting solid brights are the foundation of outfits.
Classic pieces are reworked with new textures and contrasting fabrics.
A swinging 1960s and 1970s fusion is also featured in the collection. 1960s signature pussy bow blouses sit side by side with 1970s-style flared jeans.
Lashings of leather are also high on the agenda, from mini shorts and skirts to edgy biker jackets and tough leather jeans.
Hard-edge leather meets wispy chiffon dresses is what is supposed to be a modern take on the rock chic trend.
Influenced by the revival of wallpaper florals and feminine dressing, Oasis also attempts to give a nod to classic Parisian style.
Referencing the 1940s, chiffon printed blouses and dresses are teamed with sweaters.
