Qormi came through a hard fought victory over Gzira United to join the last 16 of the U*Bet FA Trophy.

Stephen Azzopardi's side dictated the play in midfield but were unable to penetrate the Maroons' defence.

However, the Yellows' pressure finally told, nine minutes from time when Federico Mirachi crossed to the other flank, Duff controlled the ball and flashed it into the path of onrushing Jorginho who fired home.
