Feline lovers can admire more than 50 cats this weekend as they flaunt their winter fur coats during the Grand International Cat Show.
The show, organised by the Malta Feline Guardian Club between yesterday and today, is being held at the Phoenicia Hotel, Ballroom Suite, Floriana.
A wide variety of cat breeds from Persians, to British Long Hair, exotics, Maine Coons, Himalayans, Sphinx, Burmillas and other feline breeds will be exhibited alongside the much loved Maltese domestic cat.
Three South African judges have been flown in to conduct the shows, which is a first for the club. The show is open today between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The committee members will be at hand during the show .
They will also be taking applications for the next cat show as well as accepting club membership.
