GALEA. On November 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Christine née Cuschieri and Steffan, God’s precious gift of a third-born son – JAMES, a most welcome brother to Benjamin and Samuel. Thanks be to God.

GRIXTI. On December 3, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Larissa née Syromiatnikova and Shawn, God’s precious gift of a daughter – NICOLE, a most welcome sister to Olga. Thanks to the obstetrician, midwife Carmen Scerri and to all the staff at the hospital.

Obituary

TURNER – ELIZABETH, née de Trafford. Died suddenly on November 30, at home, aged 79. Widow of Admiral Sir Francis Turner, wonderful mother to Francis and Michael and loving grandmother to Jack, Meg, Scarlett and Lucy. An inspiration to all who knew her. Funeral at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic church, Effingham, Surrey,UK, tomorrow at 11.30 a.m.
