The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry signed two memorandums of understanding during a recent trade mission to Australia organised by Malta Enterprise.

The agreement will have significant value to members

The agreements were signed with the New South Wales Business Chamber and the Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry after a presentation to members of the Sydney and Melbourne business community.

Through this agreement, both chambers will co-operate in the promotion of trade, investment and business facilitation opportunities among the business communities of both countries.

To implement these objectives, the chambers agreed to ensure constant information exchange in the economic field, organise and facilitate the exchange of business delegations, businessmen and chamber delegations, and facilitate business workshops and seminars .

The MoUs were signed by Malta Chamber board of management officer John Huber, International Trade NSW senior manager for the New South Wales Business Chamber Ian Bennett, and head of international trade – VECCI Global, for the Victorian Employers Chamber Patricia Griffiths,

Malta Chamber president Tancred Tabone said the agreements wouldl have significant value to members seeking to explore the “interesting” Australian market.
