LOL’s new headliner
The headliner of tomorrow’s LOL Stand-up Comedy Show Stephen Grant has been replaced by Junior Simpson.
An observational comic, Simpson finds his humour in the everyday and humdrum with anecdotes of his world travels as a comedian, adding a personal originality to his set.
Although mischievous and daring, Simpson is never crass or crude and tailors his set to an audience.
A Guardian critic said of the comedian: “My highlight was Junior Simpson. A vigor-ous raconteur and vibrant mimic with lots to say. Watch that Man!”.
