BARTOLO. On December 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, DORIS, aged 81, of Floriana, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Noel and his wife Sonia, her daughter Doreen and her husband Mario, her grandchildren Daniela and her partner John, Ilona, Kurt and his girlfriend Francette, and Kris and his girlfriend Gaby, and great-grandson Kyle, her sisters Adelina and her husband Joseph, and Rita, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Publius Parish Church, Floriana where Mass praesante cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar Tal-Providenza, Siġ-ġiewi will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MONTEBELLO. On December 7, MARIA, widow of Joseph of Żejtun, resident at Villa Messina, Rabat, aged 93, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Doris and her husband Joseph Gatt, Peter and his wife Tessie, Connie and her husband Tony Bonello, Victor and his wife Mary Grace, Louis and his wife Jessie, Carmelo and Marija, Rita and her husband Mario Ghio, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in-laws, cousins, other relatives and friends and also friends and the staff at Villa Messina. The funeral leaves Villa Messina at 2.15 p.m. tomorrow for St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m. followed by interment at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

Requiem Mass

A Mass for the repose of the soul of Dr RICHARD MANCHE will be said tomorrow at 7 p.m. at St Patrick’s church, Sliema. All Richard’s relatives and friends are invited to attend. May he rest in peace.

Computer courses

The National Council of Women said Awareness, Advanced Awareness, ECDL and Advanced ECDL courses will start in the second week of January at its centre in Blata l-Bajda.

Classes are held once a week, either from 9 a.m. to 12 noon or between 5-8 p.m. There will be eight students per session.

Charity Concert Proceeds

A cheque for €2,025 has been presented to Dr Victor Calvagna of Puttinu Cares, collected from a charity concert held at the Casino Maltese organised by the Association International Women in Malta.
