Air France to fly from Toulouse

The picturesque southern French city of Toulouse is that little bit closer now that Air France will operate direct flights to Malta, the tourism authority and Malta International Airport said. The French national airline will begin flights next April.

The picturesque southern French city of Toulouse is that little bit closer now that Air France will operate direct flights to Malta, the tourism authority and Malta International Airport said.

The French national airline will begin flights next April. Malta International Airport CEO Austin Calleja said the company welcomed the decision as it was the first time that the French legacy carrier would be carrying out a scheduled operation to Malta.

Malta Tourism Authority CEO Josef Formosa Gauci said it was a significant step forward for the islands’ tourism industry.
