Clients given a treat

Delicata hosted its popular bi-annual ‘“thank you” wine event for all its clientele in Gozo.

Hundreds of loyal Delicata customers made their way through the stormy conditions to Palazzo Palina at Ta’Ċenc Hotel, to enjoy an array of Delicata’s DOK and IGT quality wines and a buffet of assorted food items.

Fifteen wines, including the award-winning Grand Vin de Hauteville, Medina, Pjazza Reġina, Delicata’s indigenous Frizzante wines, Girgentina and Ġellewża and the island’s own leading DOK Gozo wine, Victoria Heightswere, were available.

The company’s new sweet DOK Malta Liqueur wine, the Grand Vin de Hauteville Moscato, was served with a variety of desserts. A Delicata representative said: “It is always a pleasure to organise such a party for our Gozo clients asa thank you gesture for their support throughout the year.

He said that many of the guests had been the company’s clients for years and appreciate the investment and hard work done by Delicata to keep the quality of its wines at the top of their game.

He added that it was of tremendous importance that they feel secure in the knowledge that in these days of wine saturation, the Delicata wine brands are successful and popular enough with the consumer, to warrant the valuable space they take up, either on their wine lists or retail shelves.

“Similarly they need to know that they can rely on our service and support at all times and together with our established Gozo agent, Calbo Ltd, we know that we can guarantee the support they will need, will be there,” he said.
